The neighborhoods where some children live are typically filled with negative and dangerous circumstances. These children face pressure to join gangs and often have no safe spaces to play or study. The lack of resources and positive opportunities can be overwhelming for these disadvantaged families.

Freedom Community Ministries (FCM) is a place where people come together to inspire and teach each other for the greater good. FCM is a testament to the long-term investment of our supporters in children, families, and in the community. We go beyond just brick and mortar by providing families with the resources and opportunities necessary to rebuild their lives.

FCM runs a food pantry where we partner with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and offer perishable and non perishable items to help combat the hunger epidemic.

Freedom Community Ministries offers many transformative programs rooted right here in the heart of the community we serve. We see ourselves as a safe haven for both younger and older children, where they spend time with caring mentors while receiving the support needed to break the cycle of poverty for good. Our mission is to support and empower youth from communities affected by poverty to thrive in school, and in their overall lives.

Food Bank

FCM food bank is located at 6928 Commercial Dr., Morrow, Ga.

Hours of operation is:

Sundays 10am - 1pm

Saturdays 11am - 2pm

Book Bag Giveaway

FCM provides book bags and school supplies to low income families each year.

Mentorship

FCM provide various impactful mentorship programs for youth and young adults. Your programs offer valuable lessons and resource that encourage good decision making for productive lives.

Toys For Tots

FCM partners with the Toys for Tots Foundation along with personal donors to give children gifts during the holiday season.

Sneaker Drive

The EPA estimates that 200-300 million pairs of shoes are thrown into our landfills each year contaminating our environment. With your help, we can keep sneakers out of landfills, reduce toxic chemicals in our air and soil, and raise money to support our cause. FCM cares about the environment. Let’s make a difference together!

Summer Lunch Program

FCM will provide nutritious meals to children and youth 18 and under, at no charge, during the summer when school is not in session.
